Top 5 places to see in Europe

Taking advantage of our European cruise deals is the best way to see a selection of the diverse ports that Europe has to offer. And with such a huge region to explore, we have made sure that no destination has been left unturned. Here are our top five must-sees in Europe:

  • Copenhagen, Denmark
As you would imagine, there’s plenty to see and do in the capital city of Denmark. One of the most popular attractions is the David Collection - a museum dedicated to Islamic art. The Church of our Saviour is another impressive landmark in Copenhagen and it is here that you can climb the winding stairs which lead the way around the outside of the church and offer fascinating views across the city.
  • Monaco, French Riviera
Here you can visit the world-famous Monte Carlo Casino, the Palais Du Prince, see the extra-ordinary views on a helicopter tour or mountain trail, explore the old-town, discover the history of Monaco Cathedral or if you like your cars, Monaco is home to the private collection of antique cars belonging to Prince Rainier III.
  • Dubrovnik, Croatia
A great way to see Dubrovnik is by ‘walking the wall’, where you’ll get the most exquisite views of the city below. With its marble streets, array of monuments and ancient buildings, Dubrovnik’s Old Town is definitely worth exploring. Check out the 17th-century cathedral here, with its remarkable gold and silver ruins. Then head to Rector’s palace, which is the former home of Dubrovnik’s Republic Rector.
  • Zeebrugge, Belgium
Zeebrugge is the gateway to Bruges in Belgium and is an extremely popular port of call. The medieval architecture surrounds the city so it’s no wonder that this place has been listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of our favourite things to do here is to take a stroll around Market Square where you can climb the 350 steps of Belfry for the most amazing panoramic views.
  • Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykjavik is a unique and intriguing destination, brimming with exciting possibilities. The Blue Lagoon is a firm favourite with visitors as it offers mineral-rich waters surrounded by a rugged volcanic landscape. Alternatively, take a fascinating tour around the Golden Circle or go in search of the Northern Lights.
